CPE Prep - Equine and Bovine/Ruminant
Dr. Gemeinhardt is now offering tutorial help for veterinarians preparing for the equine portion of the Clinical Proficiency Exam (CPE) of the AVMA's Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) accreditation program.
We also offer preparation for the bovine/ruminant portion of the exam, although
hands-on cattle work will only sometimes be available, so please let us know well
in advance if you also need bovine exam prep.
While it's never too early to begin preparing for this demanding exam, we ask that
you study as much as you can before your CPE prep with us. There is alot to cover in a short period of time (5 days), so please come as fully prepared as you can.
In order to make the best use of the limited time, we recommend the following:
* English comprehension and dialogue - if you are still working on mastering
spoken English, please consider delaying your visit until you feel more confident
speaking English; not only is there a lot of material to cover in this tutorial week,
but you will be required to be fluent in English for the exam.
* Timing - your tutorial is best scheduled for within 1 month of your exam date.
* Children, pets, and other distractions - please make this tutorial week your sole
focus by making other arrangements for child and pet care.
* Company - consider coming with another CPE candidate so that you can study
together; we can accommodate up to two candidates at a time (at our discretion).
Thanks for considering our CPE Prep program. Our motto is, We want you to pass!
and we'll do our best to help you prepare for your exam.
