OUR TRAINING FACILITIES FOR

CPE PREP

​

We want you to be comfortable and get as much as possible from your time here.

 

To that end, we have on hand:

 

  • All of the veterinary equipment needed in the equine and ruminant portions of the CPE.

​

  • A small and well-used library of veterinary texts and reference materials.

​

  • A guest cabin to stay in on the property. CLICK HERE to view  more about the guest house.

  • Wireless internet access.

​

You'll be practicing animal handling and clinical skills on horses and other livestock kindly supplied for the purpose by some of Dr. Gemeinhardt's clients.

 

When appropriate, you'll also be riding along on routine farm calls and emergencies, although contact with client-owned animals will be decided on a case-by-case basis by Dr Gemeinhardt and the client.

 

Please note that hands-on work with cattle must be scheduled well in advance, as availability is limited.

Airports near Latitude 36:

 

The nearest airport is Piedmont Triad International (PTI or GSO) in Greensboro, NC. It is about 45 minutes from Latitude 36.

 

The larger airports are Charlotte-Douglas International (CDI) and Raleigh-Durham International (RDU), both of which are at least a 2 hour drive away.
