Among her many accomplishments, Kim served on the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Board for ten years having been appointed to that Board by the Governor of North Carolina. She served as President of that Board for several years.
She is currently President-Elect of the American Association of Veterinary State Boards having been a Director for four years and Treasurer for three years. The AAVSB is an international association of veterinary regulatory boards from across North America with affiliates from several continents.
For all that, she still finds time to enjoy her own horses, goats, dogs, and cats on her farm near Walnut Cove.
